Today the plan is to cycle along the main river and then keep going north along one of its branch. I want to see what's going on along those river banks. It looks like a lot of people go there to chill, to train and have some fun. Let's check on it :-)

The owner of the guesthouse offers some bread, eggs and jam. She said “anything you see in the fridge that doesn’t have any label, you can eat”. I saw an apple, I eat an apple :-)
Breakfast

I am finally ready for my second visit of Seoul. The weather is still cold but at least the sun is back!

I must join the main road before I can reach any bicycle lane. Fortunately, cyclists can use the foot paths. It’s not ideal but it’s better than the road.

Most road intersections have a type of umbrella to prevent sun burn. That’s great.

I am now joining the bicycle highway :-)

2 lanes for cyclists and 2 lanes for others.

I’ve reached the Hangang river.
Bicycle highway!

People picnic, play games, do sport, there are a lot of activities going on here.

I’m crossing the river from South to North.

Now going East.

There are plenty of park and other stops for anyone to have a rest.

One more round about. Amazing how it’s all so well organized.

I’m now following up North the Bukhangang river.
A little while later

I exit the cycle path for a bit because I want to find some food.

I will keep cycling that way once I’m full.
Searching for a small and cheap place

I found an healthy little place. I’ll leave my bike outside.

Poke bowl sounds good.

Egg, avocado, salad, other veggies and rice. For once, no spicy food!
Lunch time

Back on the saddle!

And back on the same cycle lane.

This is a Korean golf field. I didn’t dare to take photos of the players yet. It’s small that golf and bigger than mini-golf.

River, walking lane, bicycle lane, tennis court and highway after that.

What is that cyclist doing on my saddle?

Those crossing are cool.
Looking for the connection between 2 cycle lanes

Here is the second part of the cycle path.

This area is work in progress.

I’m at the round about I passed on earlier. I finished a loop but that’s not the end of the journey.

I cross that bridge again.

Back to the Southern side of the river.

That’s my exit :-)

The line continues for a little while.

Here they have several types of rental bicycles. Some are electric as well. They have dedicated areas for drop off like here but most of the time they are scattered across the city.

Looking for food

That seems all right.

The atmosphere of that restaurant is nice.

And I can keep my bike inside :-)

It took only few minutes to being served. Quick!

Dinner time

I am not far from the guesthouse but those last 2 km are super hilly.

There are always a small little parc somewhere. That’s it, I’m almost arrived at destination. That was a great cycle trip. I need a rest!
