This late afternoon, we start our one week trip on the Canal du Midi. We will navigate back the same way.
Before leaving on our own, we need to go through a short training session. Max starts. I’ll do the way back to the harbour.
Some time later
We are now on our way to the west.
8 km per hour is and will be our top speed for the rest of the trip.
Max is ready to push the boat in case we get to close to the riverbank.
An hour later
Today is a short trip only. The goal was mostly to get out of the city.
The boat is attached to a tree and a big peg we hammered into the ground.
