Today I start the third and last trip of my "Tour de France" 😁. The weather is cloudy and the windy is pushing me most of the way. Pretty easy first day 👍.

It’s 9 am, we left with Max and took a different road.

I’m back on the “Canal du Midi”. I’ll follow it most of the day before leaving it later this afternoon.

First lock of many more coming.

This time I’ve got a spare tire 😅 but still have a missing spoke. I’ll be delicate with that back wheel and it should be fine.
Short break time

Crossing the canal.

Same same but different 😁.

It’s almost 12 am. I’ll leave the canal and find something to eat.

Easy done!

Salmon, cream cheese, onions and salad + a Paris-Brest.
Lunch break

Back to the Canal.

It seems I’m on the wrong side of the canal. Let’s cross the bridge.

Better, hence sunny!

Oooh, what’s that?

Okay, those 2 kind of locomotive pull the boats up to a ramp.

Pretty colourful.

That’s the ramp. During the high season, we can visit it for free but everything is closed now.

Arriving in Castelsarrasin. I know there is a place where I can work from.

McDo!
I’ve done 63 km already. I’ve got tailwind almost all the way. Easy day so far.
Blogging / Working

3 hours later, I’m back along the canal.

Arriving in Moissac.

That road is very smooth but there is a lot of traffic. In few kilometres, I’ll leave it fortunately.

Finally! I’m out of the busy road but now it’s uphill to the point I’m pushing the bike.

Let’s enjoy the view now I’m up there.

I’m going straight.

That is a much better road.

Still pushing the bike.

I’m arriving to a tiny village.

Mmmh, very interesting. There is water! I’ve met a guy, Jacques, who was outside his home when I arrived. He lives right new to the cemetery. I said:
Normally, there is water in each cemetery right?
Yes, this cemetery has water.
That's nice :-)
Where are you going to sleep tonight?
Hmm, I don't know yet. I'm looking for trees for my hammock.
We have trees in our garden. I'm not sure they would fit your hammock. There are also trees at the back of the cemetery.
Actually, I was looking for a spot with a nice view on the sunset. The back of the cemetery might be perfect for that.
Well, if you need anything, just ask. My wife and I will be here tonight.
Thanks Jacques. I'm Damien by the way.
Have a good night Damien :-)

Here is the view. Exactly what I was looking for :-)
Setting up camp

I filled a watering can from the cemetery to wash my clothes and myself. I’m all clean and ready to sleep now.
