This picture represents perfectly these two little towns. There are colors everywhere, many flowers and it’s sunny today! That’s awesome! But, somehow, I feel a bit strange today, lonely and a bit sad.

That is the landscape I discovered this morning when I opened my tent 🙂 🙂 🙂 cool!

A man told me few second ago: “This is a good spot for a breakfast”. Oh yes it is!

I’m full and ready to visit around. My first goal is to go to the end of the Ohope peninsula to see how it looks over there.

Almost at the end

The far end of this peninsula is a natural reserve.

The end. Just behind that hill is situated Opotiki, my next destination normally. But first, I will have to make a U-turn because there isn’t any ferry from here 🙂

The sun is shinning! Aaaaah, I can’t see anything right now…

That end part was too windy. On my way back, I’m riding along a golf course.

What a spot!

Moutohora island (Wiki) is standing, peacefully.

That’s so beautiful. I don’t know where to look because everything is so wonderful today.

I always appreciate the creative designs of homes in New Zealand. There are different from each over but all together it is a great mix of designs and colours.

An old wooden letter box. One more 🙂

Behind that letter box, there are original black flowers.

The very short pink flowers series.

Cycling uphill

After a 2 hours break searching for the courage to go back to Whakatane, I’m finally on the hill.

I’ve reached the city center of Whakatane again! I’m going to buy my second chain… I understood that I will have to buy a new chain about every six weeks… expensive stuff!

The view of Whakatane’s marina.

Whakatane’s Gardens 🙂

The garden is on my right hand side and the marina in front. This city is really cute.

Hey, that’s the same king of train I’ve seen in Thames. I wish I’d see it workink at least ones but I don’t notice any activity right now unfortunately.

On my left hand side, always the same island. It’s hard to be lost with it.

The Whakatane’s riders 🙂

My last picture of this beautiful day. I like this city 🙂 Tonight I plan to cycle back to Ohope and sleep at the same spot as last night. I will have to cross that hill again but that’s fine 🙂 See ya!
