I took those picture 2 days later but it made more sense to show you my set up as soon as possible. I’ve got all the campsite area for myself. Of course I’m the only guy who dares sleeping outside in the middle of the winter. But hey, I’m on budget. My goal is to cycle around, not looking for 5 stars campsite 🙂
When I arrived to the Avondale Motor park the first day, I was the only one camping. Right one, guess what? I’m still the only one camping haha.
I am situated right at the entrance of the park, just behind. Here, on each side of the road, those 2 patches of grass are for tents. For now, I have it all for myself and I feel it’s gonna stay this way as long as I’m here.
I will improve in the future but for now, it is a bit of a mess. At night, the temperature averages around zero degrees. I’ve been sleeping with my clothes and zipped the sleeping bag all the way to the top. It’s not impossible to sleep but few degrees more would be welcome!
