Kerikeri, last day of work.

These last two weeks passed very fast as I worked every day. Maybe now my work is done I will take some time to visit around haha. I've heard about "Rainbow falls" and "Puketi forest" which seems to be good places to visit.

For almost a month, we continued planting palm trees, edges and flowers. The job didn’t vary much for sure but now, every morning, I feel pain to my hands. I can’t move my fingers like before. It’s like when we play handling a stick very strongly for one minute and after that it’s difficult to open finger by finger. It’s not horrible but I’ve never felt my hands like this before.

The entrance’s landscaping of the properties’ complex is almost done. This morning a truck came with the main gate. They just did some adjustments and went back with it. Rah! I wish I’d see all this place finished before I leave so I could take a great picture of our work :-). This job was interesting and physically difficult but now I know some landscaping tips :-).

Next time I would like to learn how to build a wooden house. In fact, Kiwis like to use wood to realize the main frame of the house. It might be an interesting experience to work in that environment. Maybe that will happen during my year here, who knows.
