First test before the grand departure. Today with Max we want to cycle to Romilly sur Seine. The weather is good and not so hot so that should be a piece of cake. We took the train first to avoid cycling through the busy suburb area and enjoy straight away the more peaceful country side.
Unfortunately, the nice weather did not last. About half way, rain started. Max was tired and pretty pissed at the rain so he called our uncle to pick him up. On my side, I want to finish the trip. I need to know if I’m able to last those 80km or not. Once in New Zealand that will be too late to give up so, let’s do it!
Completely drenched!
Finally, after 40km under consistent rain, I’ve reached my destination :-) I feel like I just had a long and cold shower. My shoes are two warm bath tubs but I did it! Ah!
