Today I start my second French cycle trip. This time I'm going west. Geovelo was "telling' me to follow the same way from Fréjus to Cavaillon through Lorgues, Varages, etc… but I prefer to follow the littoral as much as possible.
That place used to be L’Arcosolium :-) Now, no idea.

Short break
I’ve met Marie Christine, Micheal and Armand. We had a short chat for 10 minutes or so. I’m now back on the road.

Marie Christine told me that there is a bicycle road all the way to Saint-Tropez. Indeed, and it’s nice.
The weather is amazing today. The temperature is perfect too.

I arrived in La Croix-Valmer. I’ll have a short rest. There are public toilets too. Always appreciated 😁

Except some road sections today, I’m spending most on my time on quiet roads and dedicated cycle roads.

I’ve checked and there should be a bakery nearby. It’s time for a lunch break. I’ve reached the Lavandou.
That’s a cute little village center. I’ve found the bakery and got a sandwich. Where is the beach now.

1 hour lunch time
While I was in Lavandou, I realized that there is a McDonald’s in La Londe. That was roughly my goal for today. If I reach it early, I’ll be able to work from there. Why work? Yeah, good question 😊. Because some clients I didn’t hear about for a while decided to come back to me all at once. As always… But it’s fine. I’ll upload this blog too so I won’t be late right on the first day 😁

That’s it. I’m right on time 😁. I’ll stay here 3-4 hours and then will look for a spot where to sleep and ideally with a water tap so I’ll take a nice fresh shower. See ya 👋
Few hours later
I’ve uploaded 95% of my blog photos. I also work more than 2 hours for 2 clients. I’ve done well. Now, let’s find a spot for the night. I will leave the city by the north side. I expect to find something there once I’m in the country side.
A very short time later
The cycle lane back to the city center went along a Lidl supermarket. I’ve noticed a kind of parc at the back. I went down the road and found this place. A “terrain de pétanque” with another green area at the back. That should do it!
I’ve done only 1.5km. I haven’t left the city yet 😅. I will set up camp here for sure. The only issue is… 1000s of mosquitoes… Good night.
