Saint-Gilles > Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone

61 km

Yesterday, I left the region of P.A.C.A and entered into Occitanie in the late afternoon. Today, the weather is nice, the wind pushes me and I did not get any punctures. The atmosphere here is quite different. Landscapes are vast and peaceful. So far, so good.

The spot was very good but I did not sleep well fortunately.

A rough idea of where I slept. There, between those pine trees.

The village is quiet. I’ll refill my bottle before leaving.

It’s 7:26am. There is a light breeze. Temperature is perfect.

I’ll follow the river for a while.

Very nice around here.

Short break for breakfast.

I’m arriving in Aigues-Mortes.

Tour de Constance

Saint-Lovis

The guide is talking about the story of the local King.

Short break within the castle

Let’s go to the sea shore now.

Salt

Approaching the beach.

Weird design.

Lunch break

At McDo again. I’m late on the blog.

Blogging

Back on the road. I’ll cycle for roughly an hour to leave the busier city behind.

I’ll take the stairs, hey?

I found a nice spot for tonight I think. Toilets, water, pic-nic table and no neighbours, for now.

There is a big skatepark so I guess, visitors will come later. I’ll eat something and see how this turns out.

Diner time

It’s getting a little dark. Mosquitoes are coming for diner. People are leaving slowly. I’ll do a tour to see if I can find a better spot than the front.

This skatepark is high quality!

That is where I hang my hammock. For sure.

It even has a stunt/trail section.

A high curve? Whatever the name is.
