Today is the day when we start returning to Agde where we rented to the boat. We visited a cute little town called Le Somail. This village has an impressive library containing 1000s of books.

Turning back

We arrived in Le Somail again. We met the sailor from yesterday 👋. Still on his way to Royen.

We parked in Le Somail where we will stay for the night. We will move behind that big boat later on.

This village has a group of mascots: Geese

Their owner owns a “boat mart” in the village. They walk around all day and kinda scare visitors 😅

We are entering a special library.

It has many many many books.

Like a lot!

This is the “boat mart”.

There we are.

Looking around the village
Later on, while we were playing pétanque, we heard someone applauding from a distance. We looked towards the boats and one of them, She was felicitating us for playing pétanque 😁. As I saw how enthusiastic she was, I invited her to play. She came straight away and played one game with us. Thanks Leanne 😊.
We saw the geese coming back towards us until they stopped suddenly. We were not sure if we were blocking them or if the music were attracting them. There is concert on a big boat, just 10-15 metres from where they are standing. They all seem to listen to the music. When a music piece is finished, they honk in unisson. They must like it then.
The waiter at the restaurant where we ate this evening told us they are the stars of the village. There is a bar which has music at night on a certain day every week during high season. They always come inside, walk through the people, to listen to the music 😅.

One response to “Mirepeisset > Paraza > Le Somail”
Pas de photo de notre joueuse de pétanque australienne 😕
