Napier, Bluff hill lookout

8 km

Today it’s the last day before the rain come again… I will be lazy tomorrow so I’m going to bluff hill lookout, the big hill next to Napier. My NZ book says there is a great view from there. I want to see that 😊.

I took the first road going up but it doesn’t seem to be the right one… I will try the next one. I’m visiting, it’s cool :-)

I was stuck on the top of these stairs…

Ah? A small floral park. I can have a look.

I’m up to another hill and haven’t seen any sign yet. I’m not far from the summit, I feel it. The view is already good :-)

Finally I found the entrance :-) it’s almost a jungle here :-) I’m maybe 5 minutes far from the city centre and it’s so quiet.

The next part will be by walk.

A new lucky family are building their house in the middle of the nature,  few minutes away from the city center!

Ah yes, the top :-)

Woohoo, I didn’t expected the summit to be as spacious as it is. It’s a good place for picnic.

Napier’s harbour.

The weather forecast was right, rain is coming…

I thought we could see the city as well.

The top of the top!

Going down back to my bicycle

The view was great 😊, not what I expected but it was a nice visit. Now I’m continuing my way to have a closet look on the harbor. I would like to take some industrial pictures.

Getting nearby the industrial zone

There are many different colours. It’s graphic :-)

Those used to be part of a forest…

Maybe, the boat I’ve seen in Gisborne was heading here, or not…

A peace of sky stuck between wood and metal.

The visit is finished for today. I don’t know what I will do tomorrow… Surprise!
