Saigon > Seoul

3600 km

70 km

It's 0:40 am and the flight for Seoul is finally ready. Once I reach the guesthouse I will move around by transport as I want to fix some electronics stuff and go to Decathlon.

On the way

We are approaching Seoul!

Hopefully, my bag will be okay.

At the immigration.

Finally waiting for the bus.

So far so grey.

There seems to be a lot of cherry blossom trees. In Seoul. I saw a lot. Hopefully the weather will get better soon.

In the bus 6017

Son, the owner of the house where I’m gonna stay for 5 nights explained everything clearly on how to get to her place. I should be there very soon.

Streets are narrow and hilly around here.

That’s the house :-)

That was pretty easy to find in fact.

Well, that photo does not represents the house very well. I was testing my camera with and without the lens protection I’ve added years ago and realized that that protection was the reason why my photos looked so fuzzy without any contrast! The following photos should look much better now :-)

Looking for an IT place

During this rainy afternoon, I want to find a shop that fixes electronic devices. I brought 2 broken mice with me that I wish I could fix.

After that infinite tunnel I should reach my destination.

That’s definitely an IT departement here. There are many small shops that make computers. Now I need to find someone who can fix stuff.

Any IT people willing to help?

After going across few floors and asking few people the answer I got was “nope, we cannot help you”. What should I do with those mice now?…

For the time being I’ll keep them. Now I’m looking for a Decathlon.

In the subway

He we are :-)

I must buy a new pant as the only one I have has 2 holes along the pockets. While I tried to put something in my pockets, I tiered the fabric several times in a row. Now, one hole basically fits my hand.

Something like this?

Back towards the guesthouse

The rain did not stop today. It’s cold (10°C and wet), brrrr. I am glad Son lended me un umbrella!

Being so cold and hungry I picked the first restaurant that I feel would be good enough.

I quickly understood that the food they sell here is for sharing. The waiter took the time to show me some photos that corresponded to the menu I couldn’t read. I picked the cheapest one which is still 36000! (25 USD). Ouch!… For sure I’ll have to take away some food. The meat plate looks absolutely huge but more than half of it is fat. Also, the meat stands on big bones which makes it look like a hill of meat.

My first (and last) over expensive korean meal

I’ve got my breakfast and I am going back to sleep now. I need a good rest for sure! That little reading place looks quite nice :-)

Still raining…

Finally back to Hanyang Healing House. Tomorrow, if it stops raining, I will get my new bicycle. See ya!
