This is my last day in Korea. This morning I'm going to pack all my stuff including the bike then I'll visit the city for few hours before going to the airport.

Done!
Finishing packing things

Let’s have a last tour.

Here is the map of Seoul transportation.

The host of the guesthouse recommended me to visit the flee market. I should be able to eat there too.

That brown building looks thin.

This is the Sungnyemun Gate (Namdaemun).

The details under the roof are rather impressive.
Getting close to the market

These are all real and colorful :-)

Entering the market area.

That seems to be the jewelry and precious metal district.

Here that’s for camouflage clothes.

That market is quite big.

The fluffy shop.

There are underground shops too.

Food ? snacks ?

Covers? hats? bed sheets? Lots of stuff for sure.

From top to bottom and left to right my app translates:
- In orange: Welcome
- In green: This is the imported goods shopping center in the basement of building E.
- Vertical: Health food, Cosmetics/Food, Clothing/goods, Kitchenware, Electrical appliances, Accessories, Daily necessities, Shoes/Bags, Lingerie bowl
- In blue: Thank you, Good bye.

I might have been here earlier but I’m kind of lost right now. Where is the exit ?

Ah! Food :-)

People are queuing.
The kitchen are in the alley while the seats inside each tiny place.

Leaving the market

Where are all those people going?

I arrived at the Deoksugung Palace, former royal palace in Seoul.

The entrance fee is 1000 KRW (~6.6 USD).

Leaving the palace

Just nearby there is the Seoul plaze, its library and the city hall.

That’s the same river I visited the other night.

Looking for the subway

This is a replica of the Trevi fountain in Italy. Koreans do not need to go there anymore then haha.
Back to “my” district.

I’m not used to wearing shoes again. I think I got sunburn too!

My luggages are ready. I have too much…

The living room plus a peak to the rooms on the left and right.

The kitchen area.

The bathroom.

And the best, the toilets remote control :-)
Going to the bus

The host helped me carrying my bicycle from her place to the bus station (a 7 minutes walk). I’m now on the way to the airport.
To the airport

Arrived at Incheon airport.

Hopefully my bike survives the trip.

132 gates! I’m 128.

Boarding time.

Seoul to China

We have landed in China.

Going through security

Once I reach the gate, I’ll have to wait about an hour before boarding for the second and last plane to Paris. See ya!

One response to “Seoul, last day”
La fontaine de Trevi n’est plus accessible aux touristes, à moins de payer, je crois. Les coréens ont anticipé 😊
