After one week on the Canal du Midi, we leave Agde with Max towards Toulouse. We won't follow the canal the whole way. A little bit at the beginning and the last 40 km before Toulouse. For the rest we aim to go along the "Black Mountain".

The 7 locks again, from another perspective this time. It’s lunch break now so there is no activity right now.
We met Leanne again!
Arriving at Colombiers. Straight ahead, there is the Canalou base where we stayed with the boat few days ago.
It’s pretty hot today so we are going to have lunch and stay here under the shade.
Lunch break
Since few days, I’ve noticed a noise I could not figure out where it came from until I realised, just now, that one spoke broke! Well, it’s not a travelling bike.
I’ve changed the back tire for something stronger. Now I need stronger spokes too. I’ll cycle smoothly until Toulouse. That should do it.
We are cycling on the “Vélocitanie” which avoids big roads. It’s very quiet around here.
We turn left.
That’s an old rail way.

Arriving in Reals.
Almost there.
This place is called the “base of Reals”. There are canoes departure and it’s not allowed to swim because there is an electric dam upstream.
It’s too nice not to have a short swim and sleep fresh tonight! That’s it for today. We are going to have diner and look around for a spot for tonight.
