Today we are going to the ocean and practice surfing. It's been 2 years for Max and 18 years for myself! We will take some lessons to learn the basics and hopefully stand on the board before the end of the weekend.

We are almost there 😊.

We have reached the campsite of the Cap de l’Homy. This is a municipal campsite with mostly pine tree farms around. It closes on the 30th of September and it’s still 1 third full (500 people are here, mostly Germans).

Parking in the sand in progress 😊.

Many vans here. Germans are well organised and come from such a long distance for surfing!

This guy had enough for the day 😅.
Setting up camp

5 stars set up 😊.

We might be too late for the sunset but let’s have a look anyway.

Sun is gone already but colours are still wonderful.
Back to camp for diner

We have bicycle lamps but they are too strong and too white. That’s a nice trip, a bag, any bag will do 😅. Tomorrow we will look for our first surfing lesson. The woman at the reception told us there is an itinerant teacher at the parking close to the beach. Hopefully he will be here tomorrow.
One response to “Toulouse > Cap de l’Homy”
Mmmhh! Ça me rappelle des souvenirs ce camping plein d’allemands au bord de l’océan 😊
